03 SEP 07 / "Mexican Trucks"
Conservative are concerned about American sovereignty. Many
believe that the concept of free trade has been carried too
far by the Bush Administration. A minority of conservatives
at the grassroots are actually aware of what's happening.
Recent
meeting in Canada, the president brushed off a question. He
dismissed the question, but he did not answer / address its
underlying premise.
The
American population at large has no clue of this trade
agreement or the highway that is going to be built. Congress
has held few / no hearings on the matter. Republicans in
Congress are now attempting to block the executive order
(?).
How is
this being carried out without the approval of Congress?
There
has been no questioning of the presidential candidates on
this matter.

North
American union to compete with the European Union.
Many
grassroots conservatives are decrying the closer ties the
Bush Administration has been forming with the governments of
Canada and Mexico. They believe the sovereignty of the
United States is threatened. Country Club Republicans only
concerned with business interests.
While I
am an advocate of the need for increased immigration to the
United States because our economy demands it, I do not
support close economic integration. And would not want the
countries of North America to go the way of Europe.
The
American people should control the destiny of the United
States.
