be paid. Americans owe this money to
themselves, but the interest is largely
going to foreign investors.
Entitlement
spending remains out of control, the Congress did
not act on President Bush's prescription for
Social Security reform. The growth of
entitlement spending is unsustainable
because the national debt is growing at $1
million per minute.
